The rescued orangutans underwent rehabilitation to ensure they could adapt back to life in the wild. Conservationists and wildlife officials coordinated the release, marking a hopeful moment for the endangered species. The return of these orangutans highlights the ongoing challenges faced by wildlife in Indonesia, particularly due to habitat destruction caused by fires and deforestation.
